Just waiting...
We made our first offer on a house and the deadline to hear back is in 5 hours. It's killing me having to just wait!
I'm also worried because my FI and our RE agent wanted to make a lower offer than I had anticipated since the house has been on the market for 13 months with no contracts ever being on it. I just am scared of offending someone and not getting my dream house at all. But with it being on the market so long, I doubt they will completely turn it down and will at least counter. We offered 26% below asking price.

Yeah the price we're hoping to get the house at is the exact middle between asking price and what we offered. I honestly think getting the house at asking price would be a great deal and the most bang for my buck at what I've seen listed around our area. So I'm gonna be happy no matter what as long as there is a counter! I just can't wait to hear back... it's killing me!!
