I knooow. I feel like such an AW because all I've done recently is post about my cat, not responding to anything else, but WHAT IS THERE I CAN RESPOND TO?! At least some people are finding trainwrecks for us.

I could tell you about my stupidly self-righteous cousin, which makes me overwhelmingly sad because he used to be super cool. Then he started dating this insanely Christian girl, and now all they talk about on Facebook are how much better than other people they are because they don't have sex. And how people who smoke, drink, or do drugs are "unattractive." Which, well, the last one may be true overall. And the sex one would maybe be true if they were a bit younger, but they're 18. Or 17, maybe. Still...

And that's all I've got. He was the one cool member of my family that I had left, and now he won't play D&D with us because his girlfriend says it's "Satanic."

This made me lol.

My friends are coming over tomorrow night so we can have a character build party for a Pathfinder campaign (because seriously? I never want to play 4th Ed D&D again... it's lost all its charm!). Pathfinder is 3.5 Ed with all of the good and the bad somewhat mitigated and I FINALLY get to play my battle mage I've been trying to build since I started playing with plain old AD&D because of the Eldrich Knight class.

Not a whole lot going on. Waiting on STBXH to get me his W-2 so I can file our taxes. He sent me everything else already.

Looking forward to hanging out with some friends this weekend. If my only single male friend wasn't so....monk-like I could see us having a lot of fun. Boo.

(I want to play deadlands again, FWIW. I used to playtest for a game that I don't think ever made it to market, wish it would have. At least w/ the guy writing it as GM, it rawked)
