And it's all ours! We are finally getting our own home. The people, the place, and the money are all together at once! It's a nice gated little complex that allows dogs bigger than 30lbs. And it's two blocks from my job!
We'll have our bedroom, and our bathroom, and our dining room, and our living room, and our kitchen, and our balcony.
I kind of want to go pack up all the belongings of the person who's not renewing their lease, and throw it on the truck for them, today.

Where are you living now?
We've been staying with my MIL. We moved here for DH's new job in October, and didn't anticipate it taking me till January to find a job here. They've been super nice and all, but damn, I'm ready
Before that DH and I were on the road, while he was a trucker, I went back and stayed with my parents for awhile when I couldn't handle living on the road, any more. Right as we were about to get an apartment there, DH got the call about this job, which pays a little more, plus he's home every night, but not quite enough to pay all the bills.
I forgot that was you.
This will be a nice change.
