Ok, so as you know my honda's engine crapped out and I was driving around DH's old beater explorer last week. Well then the power steering went out on that as I was almost home on Friday. We made the executive decision to get rid of both vehicles and get something newer and more reliable for me that would also be our family vehicle. I had been looking at small SUVs/wagons/minivans etc, the catch now is that it would have to have some towing capacity for his small boat he takes out occasionally.

*voila* up on autotrader pops a freshly listed 2010 chevy equinox that was a v6 AND already had a hitch. only 25K miles on it. I emailed the guy about it and he sent me a price quote back. I tell DH he HAS to go look at it because it is about 4K less than every other one with the same mileage/trim level etc. He ran up to check it out first thing saturday morning. It was in great shape and it turns out the guy who answered my email messed up and quoted me a price for one that was a lower trim level and a 4 cylinder, but DH showed him the email I printed out and they honored that price. so I actually feel good about what we paid for it.

Its awesome. It drives like a car and is responsive, has bluetooth, remote start, the back seats slide back and forth which is a wonderful thing to have when you deal with carseats and taking trips etc, great sound system w/mp3 player and I still don't know what half of the buttons do.

here is a pic-its shiitty because I just snapped it quickly in the work parking lot, but regardless, here it is.
