Sad update to Co-Worker's Pg Announcement (m/c mentioned)
My co-worker who had an ectopic last year & just told us that she was pregnant is living another nightmare. Originally she went into the hospital in extreme pain only to discover that the fetus had implanted in her tube. She got a methotroxate shot and was waiting to miscarry.
She got betas drawn and they were still rising for no known reason. She got another ultrasound this morning and a second baby had actually passed through her fallopian tube into the little space between it and her uterus. There was a heart beat, but the position of the fetus makes it too difficult to continue the pregnancy. To add to this heartbreak she is going to lose her last tube. They might try IVF in the future, but this might be the end of their TTC journey.
If you have any warm thoughts (or if you pray) could you please send some up for my friend? I was hoping she could have her take-home baby. To have two taken in such a short span seems desperately unfair.

There is a poster on GP going through a very similar thing right now. Are they the same person?
T&P go out to your coworker. A loss is heartbreaking by itself but these circumstances make it even worse.
