Google Him

One of my good friends called me totally freaked out because what she found when she did a Google search on a guy she has been dating for a month or so. She says she did it because he made a few comments the other night about a client of his posted a complaint on a rip of website. So she did the Google search and found a few posts about him on a few different websites. These posts claim he has took a good sum of money from on girl, gave another an STD, lied about his employment to another, and that he had a criminal past under another name. My friend confronted him and he got up, walked out of the restaurant and has not heard from him since. She is glad she found out now. I was floored to find out there are a variety of websites where people post their don't date recommendations.

So, my question is would or do you Google a guy?

 Here are the websites. Enjoy!

Re: Google Him

  • HELL YES, I googletheshit out of someone before I meet them!

I was told ON the date once that the guy had served time for rape. Not going down that road again!

Wow!!! That would be a big detail to learn about someone on a date.

  • Um, yeah, of course I google. One guy came up with an arrest for public intoxication just a few weeks ago.

Why wouldn't you google might be a better question?

  • When I was dating I usually googled.  But I ALWAYS without fail checked the registered sex offender list.

This, for realz.  And out of boredom, I looked at those sites you listed.  Those appear to be for bitter jaded exes to write "truths" about these people.  Not exactly the same thing as doing a check of a sex offender registry or court access site.

  • criminal records don't always show up on google

I check criminal records.  I have learned this after dating a felon (stole over $100k from his employer) and a guy with a history of domestic violence.

I know Judici.com is reliable for the state of Illinois, but yeah I'd like to know where you can find someone's record in other states! tell!

Wisconsin has Wisconsin Circuit Court Access.

  • I Google, check the sex offender website. I will investigate as far as I can on a person. There are to many creeps out there not to.
  • I'm a crazy person when it comes to Google Stalking. I always:

    -Google his name
-Check local clerk of courts & clerk of courts if I knew where he lived before
    -http://mugshots.com/US-Counties/Florida/, yo
-Local property appraiser (Especially if he says he owns a home)

I know I've said this before, but this is how I learned that a guy I dated in college had FIVE DUIs & had served time in PRISON. He was such a cute, normal looking guy finishing up his MBA. I didn't think I'd find anything on him... Boy was I surprised.
