Reccomend a TV series please!
We purchased an elliptical (the exchange online has great deals btw!!) and the hubs bought me a new tv today to put out in the garage with the elliptical. We have an extra dvd player so I'm going to put it out there as well.
I need a good show to get hooked on to keep my butt on that machine and not bored out of my mind.
I've never been so excited to work out and watch tv lol

I would say mostly comedy. We love Modern Family, The Office, and 30 Rock. I also really loved 24 and Prison Break. I will either get them through netflix (dvd), friends that have them downloaded, or the library.
These are available on Netflix, some on streaming, others on disks.

I just finished Friday Night Lights, and I loved it! We also like Bones, Sons of Anarchy, and Psych.
I love Criminal Minds, NCIS, Pan Am, Private Practice, Nip Tuck, CSI, Biggest Loser & Grey's Anatomy.
My guilty pleasures are Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Khloe and Lamar, Kendra, Teen Mom, The Hills, Switched at Birth & The Lying Game.
Ya I watched a lot of TV while H is gone. Judge on.

But seriously, the show has a million episodes and it is fantastic. It's like an intelligent soap opera war movie action flick scifi show with super hot guys on it. And it's funny sometimes, too. When I saw the last episode, I cried because there wouldn't be any more. True story.
The League, Parks and Recreation (especially if you like 30 Rock), Mad Men, Desperate Housewives, Breaking Bad, Weeds, Raising Hope, Modern Family, Parenthood, How I Met Your Mother.
I know this is older, but I HAVE to recommend Boston Legal. I didn't watch it while it was on TV, but picked up all 5 seasons last year and it's one of my favorites.

I second the Battlestar Galactica notion.
Firefly, True Blood, Big Bang Theory, Star Trek (Voyager is a personal favorite) and Game of Thrones are all great shows too!

Revenge, Suburgatory & Up All Night. Hulu has tons of current shows for free and also you can go directly to networks and watch full episodes of current seasons for free. I watch all these from my laptop while I am on the elliptical. I also use tv-links.eu to watch free episodes of ANYTHING. It's amazing.

I really love The Vampire Diaries. You can watch the first 2 seasons on Netflix instant streaming. They are currently airing the 3rd. Just do me a favor and make sure to make it a few episodes in. I thought the first and second episodes were pretty cheesy. I have personally been the one to get a few others hooked on the show as well.
Hubby and I just started watching Shark Tank on Hulu. It's addicting as well!
I also watch Revenge, The Bachelor, Up All Night, and Modern Family on hulu also.
