my life is so hard.

Jimmy Choo cancelled my shoe order because the shoes were 'faulty'.  They were the last pair of sale shoes I really liked on the website. WHY ME, GOD?

  • I hope you don't get frostbite on your poor naked feet. (Do Jimmy Choos feel like walking in a big marshmallow? they must right?)

  • Mod, if by 'marshmallow', you mean 'shards of glass' then yes, yes they do.  But they look damn sexy.

  • I've just recently started opting to spend more on shoes, realizing that a really comfortable cute shoe is worth the extra money.  So now, instead of only buying shoes from Payless and Taret, I'll go really crazy and spend $60 or $70 at Naturalizer.  I'm like a cheap, sad old lady.

  • I don't buy a ton of very expensive shoes, but I do like a few here and there.  In terms of comfort, I'm all about Cole Haan.  And they are often featured on Rue la la and Gilt, which is a major plus.

  • I am eagerly awaiting the next Cole Haan boutique on Rue La La because they are my go to work pump (I have them in all the key colors in a drawer at my desk) and my current set desperately needs replacing.  I think a couple of the pairs have been in roatation since I started working after b-school in 2007.  4 and a half going on 5 years is a pretty good shelf life for shoes, so I don't feel bad dropping $200+ on them and getting regularly maintenance on them (toe/heel caps & polish) at the cobbler downstairs.

  • I take a Sharpie marker to the scuffs on my $40 Stride Rite shoes. They've lasted almost three years now. I probably look like a well-disguised homeless person.

Bee Tee Dubs, bitches, do you know how many compliments I've gotten on those 90s boots you guys shat all over? RECKANIZE.
