Would it bother you if your MIL joined a mom's group to take your LO to? Assume your MIL generally has major boundary issues and is way, way too involved in your life.

Yep, I'd stop that asap, unless it was a grandma's group.

IDK, I guess I am the lone man out, I don't see what the big deal is. I guess if she wanted to get out, let your LO get some kid interaction and if it's in a safe environment I don't think it would bother me. Although it might bother some of the other moms having to chit chat with someone who is twice their age, LOL.
However, I do think it's super weird that she did this without your knowledge. I mean, why be so shady?

I agree with Kathy. I don't see it as a big deal. I'm guessing a Grandma group is hard to find?
