Where did you get your glider for the nursery?? I can't fathom spending the $400 that BRU charges for one. There have to be good quality gliders that don't cost a small fortune!!!
Re: Moms - gliders
I got mine at BRU. It was less than 200 I think and we absolutely love love it. It is something similar to this in different colors. We spend so much time in ours. I think Victoria got one from craigslist or a yard sale and made new cushions for it. That is also an option.
We ordered ours from Costco.ca and we spent a pretty penny on it (but got money from my parents and my grandma to put towards it). I'm really glad I splurged on a good one because I lived in that chair when Mackenzie was first born and I still nurse her there first thing in the morning and before bed.
I am not usually one to go for the more expensive item, but I'm glad we did. I sat in a friend's cheap one from walmart when we stayed at their place to nurse her and it just was not comfortable at all.
My mom got ours from BRU. It definitely wasn't $400. It is similar to this one, but with an ottoman too.
I liked the style of these better and I thought that after we were done with it in the nursery it could be used elsewhere in our house.
