tmi: serious question about kegels
ok, this is gross. and i asked it before and didn't see an answer.. but the day after i saw it, i saw khloe kardashian ask the same question on tv so whatevs.. i love her.
can you do kegels on your period? you probably shouldn't, right?
every time jenn posted it, i went to try and i wanted to die and couldn't do it.

we're having twins!
Re: tmi: serious question about kegels
This.
this exactly!
It seems like it would be weird with a tampon in, but maybe while you're using a pad?
exactly.
Hmm, didn't think about that. That sounds umcomfortable. And Sarack I used your barfbags phrase the other day. I started laughing at myself. I like new words.
yay!!! love it.
I guess I don't see what would be weird about it, even with a tampon...? The bit of resistance from the tampon might even help you make sure you're doin' em right, if you're not sure.
I use a diva cup, which i am using at this moment. In the interest of answers for the y'all i did a little "experiment." It does not produce any gross or otherwise undesirable sensations or effects. It does make it possible to feel the cup, which is not generally the case, but other than that, nada.

I've always heard this too, or that O'ing can help relieve cramps, but contracting those muscles in any way tends to make mine way worse. But I have horrible cramps to begin with so maybe I'm just an oddball on this one. I don't do kegels on crampy days.

ME TOO. I always thought I was a dirty girl and was horrified and embarrassed and kept changing my underwear and washing. :P I only found out CM is normal in the last 5 years or so.
I imagine one of the reasons they don't explain it is they might be too afraid that girls will use that knowledge to 'not get pregnant' and that it 'encourages teenagers to have sex'. :P That's the only thing I can figure.
