and also....THANKS for the well wishes on the interview...it went very well and now i just have to deal with HR processing that will take apprx 6 weeks.

my goal has been to be out of my job by march 17...which will be my 15 anniversary there...so FINGERS CROSSED!  i have a whole bunch of mixed feelings going on but it is time for me to go :)

Re: ny resolutions

  • Anna, that's great!  Congrats on the weight loss, and the job stuff!  It is definitely hard to move on sometimes, but it sounds like it will be great for you.

I am of no help with the gym.  I have never stepped foot in one Embarrassed

  • Congrats on the weight loss! As for the gym, my company has a gym in my building. A co-worker and I have been going to the gym every day at lunch and I'm down 3.7 pounds from last week. I've also been eating healthier. We can't go balls to the wall during lunch because we don't want to be too sweaty and smelly when we have to go back to our desks but we do manage to burn ~300 calories (says the machines) every day. If anything, it's getting us up and moving during the day instead of sitting at our desks all day.

Before we hit the gym, we were walking around our complex. Are you able to get out and walk at lunch? Do you have any gyms that are around your current/new office that you could run out to at lunch to simply just walk?

ETA: DH and I are "training" for a 5K in March. We take turns at night running/walking after work for ~30 minutes a night.

Congrats also on the job stuff. I hope everything goes smoothly and I hope that you are much happier.
