i like it crispy, but not like burn crispy.. a little bit of soft is fine..
case in point- the bacon we got from lot#3, not my fav. the candied part, yum, other part, not.
Me too! I'm also a crispy but slightly soft in the middle fan
this is the only way I cook bacon. I hate burnt. Absolutely won't touch it.

I always order my bacon extra crispy.
agreed- lot3--while the bacon was yummy, it wasn't my "style". the flavor was oh so yummy though.

This! This totally reminded me of the first day we went out looking at houses with our agent, there was a house we went to that smelled like they had made a big breakfast that morning, but it just smelled awful! Well, the house itself kinda smelled musty too, so it was like musty bacon grease
i hate the smell of any food lingering all day.. especially that of fried food.
That would totally turn people away!

Also, I totally agree on the need to air out the house after cooking -- I hate it when fried food smells linger in the house; it makes me gag. But baking! Baking smells can linger all they like. Mmm...
