Anyone have the kids/infant ones? Reviews?
I'd love ballet flat but if they dont have a lot of support they will be suckage for my back.
Drew is FINALLY not wearing XW (after a year of walk his feet slimmed down woohoo) so now I dont have to buy just Striderite (only maker of shoes that would fit him)

Re: S/O Toms
i just bought milo a used pair off of ebay. they should be here this week. i will report back.
milo has wide feet, they are PUDGE just like his fathers. i just put him in vans today (first time not in pedipeds) and he did wonderful and his feet fit perfectly!
DH picked the last new pair of shoes since we no longer needed to run to the outlets in Limerick to get the striderites. He picked shoes with laces. So now I have to chase Drew, sit him down, and tie them while the baby cries in the car seat. LOL I'm hoping the Toms go on quickly or Drew can do them himself. (He did crocs in the fall on his own).
What style did you get?
in toms the classic velcro in gray!
vans, my brother picked him out these: http://www.vans.com/microsites/kids/toddlers/mid-skool-77-v/index.html
i want to pick milo up yo gabba vans for summer too
we have these vans:

love them. they are so adorable.
lachute- can you tell me more about the pedi peds? ds has the vans above and a pair of velcro new balance for "sneakers".
we had those soft vans too!
i only bought pedi peds (grip and go) after he could walk for two weeks. went to the ollily store and had him fitted, they tried pedis and see kai runs. i had him only wear them outside. i read all these journal articles about best walking/foot development was bare foot.
before that i bought roobeez in bigger sizes to fit while he crawled to protect his feet.
He's only worn pedi peds since he started walking b/c we love them, but I may get more adventurous this spring when he's ready for a new pair. Also, while I hate crocs on adults, I hear they're really useful on kids.
yeah- his shoes/sneakers are really only on for when we are outdoors because i feel like just socks are way too cold. or if we do brunch/dinner out he will rock his saddle shoes- but its not like he is crawling in them.
i have seen the pedi peds and see kai runs.... i will have to book mark this for a month or 2 from now. ds is starting to pull up and scoot backwards but isn't down with the crawling or walking yet. this narrow window of immobility is RAPIDLY closing. yikes!
My son had the classic Toms when he was 1... Infant size 5. They were soo cute but sadly his instep (?) was too high and it was hard to get them on and Velcro them. Sooo sad. He does have the Yo Gabba Gabba vans now and those are totally fine and he/we love them. My bottom line advice would be to try the toms on before ordering if you can.
we bought Max a pair of Toms a couple of weeks ago (there's a store around the corner from us) He hasn't worn them yet but I really want him to-we got him the black herringbone with yellow soles and they are so so so cute.
