***Muddled***

Hi there. Sorry I didn't respond to your page below. I was online only for a brief minute last night.

Yes, the baby is now in his cast. He was really swollen and uncomfortable last night but is doing better today. I had to take him in to get the cast adjusted around his arms as it was rubbing him raw but he's totally fine now.  The doctor said his curve went from 47 degrees out of the cast to about 15 in cast and that pleased him to see the spine be so flexible. We go back for a follow-up in a month, then he gets this one off at the end of March, and gets a week off from a cast before he gets cast #2 put on.

He was in the walker for a bit today and did some tummy time. He's already starting to figure out how to move in the thing (it's heavy).

Thanks for asking about him!

Re: ***Muddled***

  • Poor baby. I'm sure it's much less traumatic for him to go through this now than later in life.

It's great to hear that he's improving so quickly! I hope you are doing as well with all of this as he seems to be.

I agree with everything that muddled said. You should listen to her. -ESDReturns
