Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
I just wanted to extend a friendly hello. I've noticed a few new names the past week or so. Also, I figured there are probably are some summer/fall brides that lurke around this board. Please feel free to introduce yourself. We are a friendly group and welcome new people (right BnG?).
Re: Hello New People
How old are your kids?
Hi All. New to the GR Nest board. I've spent most of my time on The Bump boards, but looking for something more local and the GR Bump board doesn't get a lot of activity.
I have 2 boys. Ben is almost 3 and Oliver is 6 months. I work part time and live in the Grandville Area.
Yes maam!
Hi everyone! I'm new to the GR area and also new to being a SAHM so I've joined to try and find ways to connect with others in the area. We moved from northwestern Wisconsin so we are a long way from home. Everyone seems really friendly on here so that is great!
I'm still trying to figure out how to use the boards and look around on here. I also am trying to figure out how to create one of those cute ticker things everyone has on the bottom of their posts. Help anyone? Some days I feel pretty computer illiterate.
You should be able to create one on the Bump home page. Towards the bottom you'll see a thing that says "Create a Ticker". You'll create the one you want, and then you have to insert (copy and paste) the link it'll give you into your "signature" under "My Bump"> Edit my Avatar&Sig> then paste the link into the "My Forums Signature" box then click "save my signature"
