Florida State Fair. FYI

I just called and was told that if you buy the tickets in advance, it's $8/adults $4/kids. Instead of the M-F price of $10/A-$5/K, Sat-Sun price of $12/adults $6/kids.

The armbands are $30 unless bought in advance, then it is $25. The lady I spoke to said parking is free.

  • My H grew up in Tampa, so he always went. We try and take DD, but the prices have gotten outragous! We also like to take her to the Strawberry Festival, just so she can experience it each year!

But for our family of 3, to get in and ride the rides is $100. If you add a Coke and some food (who can resist fair food?), your up to $150. It doesn't seem like that much but it is when you could go to a park you have a pass for and spend $30 all day!

Oh well, we suck it up and go!

  • I'm so going this year.  I wanted to go last year just to eat but I was due like any day and no one would go with me because they all thought I'd go into labor there.  This year, I have zero morning sickness and am months away from being due.  Bring it on people.  Even if it does cost us $100. lol
