Communion Dresses
Does anyone have recs of shops that have a nice selection of Communion Dresses? I know to check out Nordstrom, St. Jude Shop and Bloomies, but I heard there is a shop in the NE? South Philly? thanks for any recs

do it h-dubs! you won't be sorry (you bank account might be...). the ladies there were awesome and super helpful. they had some great christening gowns from super plain and traditional (what we ended up with) to very elaborate and ornate.
if you join the mailing list they have lots of good coupons and sales. i will check my email to see if they have anything for this weekend and forward it to you if they do.

I was just looking online and I'm in love with a few dresses. Unfortunately they are in the $200.00 range. I'm trying to balance brattyness with practicalness (I know I made those words up). Some of these are like full out mini wedding gowns, though.

I don't know why but I'm feelin' the vintage-y ones. I also like that it's not white and is an off-pink color.
It sucks because I have a christening gown that my mom, uncle, 2 cousins and I all wore in my closet at home. We were so bad and procrastinated with this so much that there is no way Danica could fit into it now. It was getting to the point that she'll be married before she gets baptized so we finally pulled the trigger and are doing it on the 12th.
