Re: Poll: Gray Hair
Seriously, it's getting gray. So much I can't keep up with it.
My mother was all gray by the time she was 35, I am afraid I am in the same boat. Thing is she has blonde hair and it's so much easier to cover/hide. My dark brown locks mean years of dye.

I have yet to find a gray hair... thank goodness! My mom at 53, still only has a few gray hairs, so maybe I have some good genetics on my side!
Read Jennrs post after I made this one.... funny how we posted the same thing!

None for me yet. My dad has gotten a little salt and pepper around his temples, and my mom colors regularly (though I think she's just salt and pepper on top too). My dad's didn't show up until his 50's, though, and I have no idea when my mom started coloring her hair to cover the gray (as opposed to just coloring it for the color), maybe mid-40s?
Paul has started getting a couple white hairs here and there, though, and he has one little spot on his chin about the size of a pencil eraser that went white over the summer. It's pretty noticeable when he has a couple days worth of beard growth (he only shaves maybe once or twice a week) so it's pretty funny.

This is me.... it came out right after Madeline was born (hormones perhaps?) Then again, my aunt has one in the same spot, and so did my grandmother, so I think it's just some family sharing. I've definitely turned to dye/highlights to hide it at this point.
I know I have some, but usually keep my hair colored so I don't see them often. I've had gray strands in there since high school. A friend, who sat behind me in a boring class, would find them and make fun of me.
I found one white hair the other day and it freaked me out. My hair is pretty much black right now so it stuck out and was half white half black. I don't know what that was all about.
Beyond that I have never had any.
