Just found out BF is married and has 3 kids
In his video game. Should I be jealous?
Re: Just found out BF is married and has 3 kids
LMAO very true!
Your husband is Drew Peterson??
I'm going to bet he's playing one of the Elder Scrolls games. My husband gets married in all of those because your wives tend to come with money or weapons. Then you leave them behind and never visit them again.
I tend to avoid in game romances because the lines the guys have to flirt with you are always awful and all I can think is, "She would totally not go for that."
Nah, you can't have kids in Elder Scrolls. Though I finally got Quintus Navale to marry me for some sweet potion reagents, holla.
I'm guessing Fable 3, though you can have kids in the previous 2 as well. There's an achieve in Fable 3 where you have to be king or queen, get married 6 times and murder 2 of your spouses. It's called Henry VIII.
this is what fi is playing and i was loling when he was telling me about this achievement.
I need better games.
I've avoided them before because I tend to get a little obsessive and get nothing else done. I mean, I still have the Chronotrigger songs stuck in my head because I played so much ten years ago.
But right now I'm playing Glitch and while the happy little social game seemed fun at first, now I'm like "Okay! I'm all leveled up! Let's go kill something!"
I think it's one of those.
Ah, good catch. Like I said, I never marry anyone because the whole thing kinda creeps me out. Especially Bioware games. They pick the scummiest dudes to hit on the female characters. I wanted to stab any potential mate in Dragon Age... and then in SWTOR... it was so creepy man, so creepy.
And I have to admit, I hate Fable. I played the first one and finished it in about 8 hours and never played another. I felt cheated and betrayed. The entire time they were developing the game they were talking about how your choices affect everything and I got excited, then when it came out it was excessively linear and no choices you made really mattered because in the end you either killed your sister or didn't and that blew all of your previous alignment choices. I could rant about this for a while so I'll stop now.
Someone needs to make a good new video game. I'm playing Planescape: Torment right now. It's over a decade old and it's amazing.
Oh mine did too, I literally had a sinking feeling as I clicked on this post. PHEW.
