I never like baths but I have been craving one. I want a huge tub to just soak, relax, and read my book.

  • I love love love baths. In fact, I'm super excited that I finally finished painting our guest bath so I can take baths again. They're more for relaxation purposes than hygiene purposes. I'm also obsessed with baths, like Hungarian baths, hot tubs, bath houses, etc., hehe.

I used to be able to do this at home. I also loved it after long runs, I would shower and then do a soak with oils and what not. My muscles loved this....

  • h and I did a couples spa day once and part of it was a couples bath. We sat there staring at each other and stacking rose petal towers on each others arms. I think we fail at romance.

I scrubbed my bath with 4 cleaners this weekend.... Ugh, dirty bath.

Haha, B and I would probably do something similar and then make a bet out of it, one of us would lose, and we would get mad.

This. I hate feeling the soap scummy slimy stuff, grosses me out.

I laughed so hard reading this! That sounds like something H and I would do! One time we went to Leavenworth, and our hotel room had an AMAZING tub that was so deep that if we filled it all the way up, we wouldn't be able to sit in it because it would come over our heads :O We both wanted to spend time in the tub because that's supposed to be all sexy or whatever, but we both got kind of bored with it, so we plugged in the laptop and watched Netflix from inside the tub haha.

  • I've always wished that I loved baths.  I love the idea of a bath.  Maybe if the water stayed nice and hot longer?  And how can I read a book without getting the pages (or my nook) wet?

Okay, so this one time I went to a spa place and there were a bunch of hot tubs, and there was a woman there who had her kindle in a gallon ziplock so she could read without worrying about dropping it! I thought it was pretty genius.

I keep a towel right by the tub so I can dry my hands off when I get in. I love soaking in the tub and reading my kindle. just don't drop it :p.

This.  Which is why I hardly ever take a bath.

This too.  Love the idea, but have to scrub the tub, then I'm always too hot or too cold, get bored, get out.  Not really worth it.

  • I LOVE a bath. Really good bubble bath, a locked door, a great book...oh, it's my favorite thing in the world.

It kills me that our house has a shallow, uncomfortable bathtub. I resent it irrationally. The owners redid the entire bathroom with stone floors and surround and granite, custom cabinetry...the works. And they left the original dinky tub with the step back that covers about a quarter of your ass when full.

  • This kinda makes me laugh.. I can't stand taking a bath.. but mostly because the bath never seems to be big enough for me to get comfy. I'm sure if we had a jacuzzi I'd use it all the time!

Anyway, the funny part: I can't stand taking a bath, but I kinda want a water birth.. hmm not sure how that works! lol Smile

  • I LURVE baths! But like Jennlin said, the tub has to be absolutely scrubbed to the bone. It is so nice to just relax. I have to say though I have never done it with scented oils, may have to try that. And sad face, I haven't taken a bath since I moved into this house. Sad
  • We have a nice big soaker tub in our master and for the first 5 months that we lived in the house I would take at least 1-2 baths per week.

Then H got a bonus at work and we bought a hot tub for the backyard and I haven't used it since... haha.

  • I am a poll ruiner. There needs to be as SS!

I take baths, and do wash, but then I shower off the bath water. LOL But I also hate my tub, so I rarely (like almost never) take a bath, just shower. Now, if I'm at my mom's or my IL's, I'll take a bath because they both have awesome bathtubs. I'm kind of a bathtub snob. LOL

  • There was a bathtub in one of the floor bathrooms in the dorm i lived in and one girl would bathe in there regularly.  Gross.

I do like baths, love them, really, but don't often take them.

  • I have to have the tub scrubbed first, too, and I usually want to take baths when I hurt...I put epsom salts in (and bubbles, you NEED bubbles) and soak when my legs or hips hurt. But since we only have a shower/tub combo, the tub always needs scrubbing first from the shower gunk...and when I hurt, the last thing I want is to be on my knees scrubbing the tub! My house failed at my dream: having a separate tub and shower! Then all I would have to do is rinse the tub clean (I'm sure kitty would jump in it and leave bits behind) and fill!
