I've been so busy all day and THIS is the thread I choose to respond to b/c I'm so excited about my dinner. My friends are leaving for South America for a month so I'm having them over tonight for a farewell dinner. I'm doing a play on creole shrimp and grits. I'm making a really fancy cheese polenta (Paula Dean style) with huge prawns seared off with a cajun rub, and roasted asparagus.

For dessert I'm making four mini mexican chocolate cakes (with ceyanne pepper and cinnamon) and vanilla ice cream. YUMMMY!

I finally have my appetite back! Only 4 pounds gained in 16 weeks but I don't know how I'll fare now that I love food again.

    Oh wow sounds amazing!

Confession: It's all bought. The tortellini is from DeLaurenti's at Pikes Market and the sauce I bought from a local vendor at the Ballard Farmers Market on Sunday.
