Re: *Staza*
I was just reading a little bit and got to the part of where you took your H to the dr. and the passing out. That happened to me a couple times with chemo!
It was much scarier for everyone else around me. After the first time I could tell when it was coming on, so I could at least alert them, but for a good minute I would be unresponsive. The first time it happened I "woke up" on a hospital bed with oxygen up my nose and they shoved the needle in my port to give me an IV. They were asking who the president was and what year it was. I was so pissed off they were asking me these stupid things and I completely felt like I was with it the whole time, but just realized I was lying on a bed. I should have lied and said Reagan in office.
That's the day I made my mom's hair turn grey
Luckily the first time we were at the hospital. I kinda chuckle about it now and then. Ok, I need to go to bed. Night!
I'll just leave this here for tomorrow. Have a good night!
Oh wow... I can imagine that was pretty strange, and why would they ask about the year and president? You'd think they'd ask your name, birthday, etc.
I'm glad to hear going back to work wasn't as bad as you'd feared. Anyone who makes any snide remark about you being gone can shove it.
I'm sure you've heard this from all the amazing people on here, but you're amazingly strong and an inspiration.
