Child/ren's name: Mackenzie Brynn
Age: 4 months yesterday!
New Tricks: She will not stay on her tummy anymore, she just immediately rolls on to her back. She also has started actually bouncing in the jumperoo which is cute.
Favorite Words/Sayings: gooo gooo aaagoooo
Sleep habits: Sleeps awesome (12 hours) at night, but naps like crap during the day. Usually only 45 minutes at a time (sometimes more like 30 min)
Favorite foods: just breast milk - YUM!
Daycare/At home & How is it going: We are at home and it's going pretty good. We are getting into more of a groove and as long as mommy gets out and about quite frequently things are much more manageable. It's when I'm cooped up at home that I start to go bonkers. Thankfully it's been a beautiful winter weather wise this year.
Funny stories: I was holding her the other day, kind of on my hip and she turned and looked right at me, opened her mouth and let out the hugest burp right in my face, and then laughed!

New Tricks: -sitting up unassissted since 4 months!

Sleep habits: Sleeps from 7/8pm- 5 am then goes down for a few more hours
Favorite foods: breastmilk, bananas!
Daycare/At home & How is it going - He is home with me going good, we get out a few days a week for play groups
Funny stories: nothing that anyone but me would think is funny that I can think of
Here's my sick baby the other day -- the only way to make her happy sometimes is to take her swimming (in the bathtub in this case).

New Tricks: Crawling and getting into everything, Standing and letting go until she realizes what she is doing, pointing at everything, blowing kisses to everyone, playing in the pots and pans cabinet
Favorite Words/Sayings: Well of course her favorite thing to say is "Mama" and that is why she only says it once in awhile -- saving it up. Otherwise, she points to things and says, "This?" And if she drops something, "Oh! Ut oh! Get it!"
Sleep habits: Once upon a time she was a great sleeper. Now it seems like she is always teething or has a cold and now an ear infection. I need sleep like woah!
Favorite foods: Yogurt, specifally Peach is her favorite, any sweets (DH insists she makes him buy cookie dough so they can bake together), most anything she can feed herself.
Daycare/At home & How is it going: Daycare. She loves it and they love her. My mom is across the hall and that is honestly the best of both worlds. If I have a meeting or something she can bring her home. She texts me pictures every day.
Funny stories: Last week was midterms at the high school so DH has practice early and got out in time for us to both go pick Ella up from daycare for two days. The first day I walked in, picked her up and then when he walked in she reached for him. The next day, I'm packing up her stuff and she's playing on the rug. DH goes and sits on the rug and holds his hands out to her -- she crawls over his legs to cross the room to me. Totally ignored him! Ha!
Anything else you feel is brag worthy!! At daycare they do baby sign and Ella can sign "more" and "all done" and I swell with pride like a freaking dork when I see her doing this.

Child/ren's name: Caitlin
Age: 16.5 months!
New Tricks: Nothing really new in the last couple weeks...she waves, runs, climbs, etc...I have noticed she is now pulling on her diaper whenever it is wet or dirty..(potty training in the near future maybe?!)
Favorite Words/Sayings: Mama, for sure...she doesn't have too many words yet. She does say mama, mom, dada, baba(though it doesn't stand for anything), and sometimes yum...that's it! Mama is most often, she just babbles it non stop! She understands EVERYTHING though. It is insane!
Sleep habits: We just went to 1 nap/day...usually around 12-2 or 2:30. Night time she goes to sleep anywhere between 7-8 and if we don't have to wake her up in the morning b/c of work, she'll sleep until anywhere between 7:45- 8:30.
Favorite foods: yogurt, cheese, olives, pickles, goldfish crackers, and those little fruit puree pouches
Daycare/At home & How is it going: Good! J's mom watches her when he's off flying a trip and I have to work. Otherwise, J watches her at home while I work, or I have her if I'm home and he's gone. It works out well!
Funny stories:Last night we were giving her a bath and she was playing with a cup of water. Before J knew it, she picked the cup up and threw it at him, soaking him!

Age: 13.5 months
New Tricks: Climbing, dancing, 'somersauts'.. he also points at what he wants and says 'OH! OH!'
Favorite Words/Sayings: He doesn't say many words, but he does talk lots. He mimics all the time, and said 'SH!T' the other day after I stubbed my toe. Oops, I guess Mom needs to clean up her mouth.
Sleep habits: Still waking 3 times at night on average, although it's usually all before I go to bed.
Favorite foods: Any fruit, chicken... one thing he hates is ketchup, he is the only person I've met who hates ketchup lol.
Daycare/At home & How is it going: At home, and he is doing well, starting to get stir crazy being stuck inside too much. He is still nursing, and using a soother, which we are trying to wean him off of. Our daily routine seems to be making a difference on how often he gets up at night.
Funny stories: We go to the Boston Pizza in town quite often with my mommy friends and their babies, and every.single.time Wyatt wants to go into the kitchen. I let him run around the dining room (we always get the empty room in the back), and he goes straight for the kitchen. The manager and most of the lunch staff now know him by name, and think he's adorable. Last time we were there the manager actually asked if she could take him into the back to show him off. I let her and when he came back he looked so proud of himself. It was cute.
Anything else you feel is brag worthy!! Always adorable and cheeky as ever! He has now gotten to the point where he eats more in any given meal than I do. I honestly don't understand how he doesn't gain weight!! He is getting much taller these days though, and is almost 31 inches tall
(but only 18lbs still, we have an appointment for my prenatal, and his weight issues on Monday)

Daycare/At home & How is it going - He stays with my mom during the day. I think they both love it.
Funny stories: Our middle cat is scared of most people, but he loves the baby. He will love on him when he is laying on the bed with us.
Anything else you feel is brag worthy!! Not sure that is it brag worthy - but the dog thinks D is his baby.

Age: 20 months on Saturday (ohmygosh)
New Tricks: She enjoys putting shoes on now. She wears everyone's shoes and tries to walk, it is pretty funny
Favorite Words/Sayings: She is finally starting to talk a lot. Her favorites of late are 'Oh man' 'Pooh' (or Piglet, Tigger or Eeyore) and she recently started saying mommy and daddy instead of mama and dada. Seriously melts my heart!
Sleep habits: She usually goes to sleep around 9. If left alone she can sleep until between 8 and 10. She will take a nap in the afternoon - usually 1-2 1/2 hours.
Favorite foods: Rice, cucumbers, grapes, apple sauce, chicken, hot dogs, noodles
Daycare/At home & How is it going: Daycare 2 days a week, with my dad 1 day and I am off the other days. She likes daycare and she entertains them a lot
I like that she gets interaction with kids and stimulation at daycare. I also love that I get more time with her, but some adult work time too.
Funny stories: She knows when she isn't supposed to do things and when she goes to do something she turns around at whoever catches her smiles, waves and says 'hiiiiiii'
Anything else you feel is brag worthy!!I could brag about everything she does all day long. It amazes me how quickly she learns things and how well she listens and understands.Child/ren's name: Eli
Age: 18 months this past Saturday!
New Tricks:He is such a busy boy. Running and Jumping (both feet finally leave the floor), dancing on top of the coffee table is a new favorite. He also goes potty on the potty at least 1 time a day. He tells me about 50% of the time that he has to go but usually is too impatient to sit on the potty to wait to go and will go within a couple minutes of getting up.
Favorite Words/Sayings: he doesn't talk that much. He is just starting to talk. His favorite is Nala (the dog). He walks around calling for her all day. He also is all boy and walks around with his fingers in his butt crack going "my butt"
Sleep habits: crappy but not as crappy as before. He goes to bed at 9pm and is up at 2am and 6am. Then up for the day around 8 on a normal day. He also takes a good 3 hour nap during the day.
Favorite foods: momma milk, whole apples (he will only eat them if you give him the whole apple), nut butters, oh and cookies and chips just like his mom. he has a lot of food issues with textures so he still isn't eating that much food but it is getting better and we are working with his doctor on them.
Daycare/At home & How is it going: He is at home with me. Most days we have a blast and are busy. We go to story time one day, toddler gym time 2 days a week, and and early childhood education class another day. Some days, however he drives me absolutely insane and I wish I had a job.
Funny stories: he was at the dr on monday for his 18 month checkup. the dr had been sitting on her little rolling stool during the appt but then got up to leave. she was still talking and E just kept pointing at the stool and then her grunting. this meant he wanted her to sit back on it. we told her she had to leave and he got that stool and pushed it across the room around behind her and into the backs of her knees pretty much forcing her to sit down. He called her a little gentleman. he is a pic of him at the appt.
Anything else you feel is brag worthy!! umm everything he does! haha. he is a big boy weighing 32lbs and is 35" tall at 18 months. He needs to stop growing so fast because my arms can't take it much longer.

New Tricks: Walking like a drunk person (lol!), standing without using anything to help her.

Sleep habits: Still waking at least once per night (AHHHHHHHH!!!!)
Favorite foods: Banana, spaghetti, chicken, peas
Daycare/At home & How is it going: Daycare is good. She has to give all her little friends Hi-5's before we leave in the afternoon, it is so cute!
Funny stories: The other day she walked over to the dog who was sleeping on the couch. She took a blanket and covered his eyes and started playing peek-a-boo with him. He was not thrilled, but I thought it was hilarious!
Anything else you feel is brag worthy!! Julia finally has enough hair for a little ponytail!!!

Age: Andy: 3 Months/Will: 11 Years
New Tricks: Andy: Bringing his hands together; grasping toys; Will: Going 4 straight weeks without getting in trouble at school!!!

Sleep habits: Andy: Sleep is for the weak!!!! We're still up every 3-4 hours at night; Will: Oblivious to alarm clocks and crying babies

Age: A little over 10 months
New Tricks: He finally started crawling, he'll pull himself up to his knees, and he's started dancing.
Favorite Words/Sayings: Pa Pa (I think he's trying to talk to the dog), but I think it's all out of context anyway
Sleep habits: He sleeps with mama and daddy
Through the night.
Favorite foods: He likes everything unless they have a TON of texture. But he likes Salmon and those Gerber cheese poof things
Daycare/At home & How is it going-He LOVES daycare. Daycare loves him.
Funny stories:He is SUCH a social butterfly. He loves the cheerleaders and will chose them over me just about every time. The only thing is that he expects then ALL teenage girls to fawn over him. We went out to dinner 2 times and there was always some sort of team sitting next to us. He kept smiling and throwing things at them to get their attention.
Anything else you feel is brag worthy!! He has one hell of an arm. Seriously. He started playing catch around 8 months. He now throws the toys for the dogs and they love him for it.forgot pic!

Age: 8 weeks (tomorrow)
New Tricks:
Falling asleep on his own.
Making his Auntie Cole spoil him.
Favorite Words/Sayings: He just found his voice this week. It's so cute to hear him talking to himself. We love hearing him laugh.
Sleep habits: We got really lucky in this department. He has always slept well.We've slowly started to move his bedtime up (because it used to be 11) and last night he was able to sleepf rom 9:30-4:00 and then back to sleep after he ate until 9:15 this morning. He has no problem napping during the day for hours either.
Favorite foods: Milk.
Daycare/At home & How is it going: Right now we are still at home. I am not sure when I'm going back to work, especially since the whole gallbladder issue.
Funny stories: He always cracks us up everyday. Here's a good picture that Kate captured.
Anything else you feel is brag worthy!! He smiles constantly and hardly ever cries. He has us wrapped around his cute little finger.
