My former boss is having a few of us over this Saturday evening for a wine tasting. I'm not sure what to bring as a hostess gift! I would normally bring wine, but we will have plenty of it there already.
I was thinking something wine-related...like charms/a travel bag? Any other suggestions? She owns/loves horses and wine and is trying to lose weight (so I don't want to bring a box of chocolates or anything, either
).
Re: Hostess gift ideas?
Definitely bring something wine related. There are more horse type wine charms at etsy and random websites.
Amazon has equestrian wine charms: http://www.amazon.com/Equestrian-Painted-Wine-Glass-Charms/dp/B002XODAZI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1327959177&sr=8-1
What about a nice plate or serving platter to serve cheese or fruit on? I'm sure you could find one with a horse on it....

Thanks, ladies! Munkii, it is so funny you posted those. I searched amazon right after I posted this and ordered those. They came yesterday (DH has prime) and they are adorable!
I'm going to look for something to go with them (a platter is a great idea, Cip) and maybe put together a little basket or something.
