Where to Meet Up before Wizards Game

DH and I are going with some friends to the Wizard's game this Saturday and are looking for a place to get a quick bit to eat/drinks before the game. Any suggestions?

Matchbox is yummy (although it can get very crowded), Vapiano's is nearby as well.

I like Fado or RFD for yummy beer.

I was just going to suggest Ella's Pizza as well - we had luck there when we were trying to eat dinner before a Cap's game and every place we tried had an hour wait. The food is really good as well (I had an awesome butternut squash risotto).

The Green Turtle is good too, but it may be packed since it's right by the Verizon Center. I really like Gordon Biersch- they may not be as crowded since it's a little further down, but not sure.

This is my neighborhood! All of the above are good suggestions. If you don't want to deal with a crowd, there is Bus Boys and Poets and Mandu at 4th and K. For a quick bite (but no drinks), Lukes Lobster as well as Merzi are good options. One of my favorite drink spots is Ping Pong which was recommended above!
