Love it or List it
Has anyone else watched this show?
I hate it so much. I hate the over the top fake scripting. At least other scripted shows on HGTV are less obvious with not as bad acting. The British chick in particular is terrible.
I also hate the bickering. it just weighs it down.
Also, it just makes no sense that they actually do the freaking renovations and then say, ok, now do you want the renovations? How would that ever be possible in reality. No one would actually begin a renovation while also searching for a new home. They would just look at plans.
ugh.

I love the concept of that show, but I'm w/ you on all the rest. The scripting is horrible, the stupid fake bickering is horrible. You can even tell that when the British lady is "yelling" at one of the workers - it's all fake and scripted too.
Oh, and then the "private" conversations the couple has thats being filmed the entire time...
yeah.
I'd LOVE to see the Canadian version to see what the show is really supposed to be.

I forgot about the private conversations. They get them in on the bickering too.
Also the real estate guy one time really pissed me off in particular. A couple said that they didn't like a back yard because it wasn't private and he said "What are you doing that you need a private backyard?" really sarcastically and assholeish like. And I'm thinking, who doesn't want a private backyard? Are you this bad of a real estate agent that you mock your customers wishes, especially on something that is seriously so normal for a person to want.
