As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Do I have to link my FB account when I sign up? And if so, does it have to show all my FB friends what I pin?

You don't' have to link to FB.
It will only show up on FB if you allow it.
I'm linked through FB but I don't' have my pins show on FB that often.
All also add that linking does start a good way to follow people and see what other like.
Deeder is right, in theory. But, I have a friend who just joined, she clicked all the appropriate boxes, and her pins are showing up on FB. She keeps reclicking boxes that say "don't show my pins" but they do. Pinterest is glitchy.
I was wondering why there was a sudden flood of pins showing up on my FB feed, now I know why.
Please don't.
