flame away: yoga pants
I'm wearing yoga pants to work. The first thing my co-worker said to me this morning was, did you just come from the gym? I laughed and said, no, i just came from i didn't want to do sh!t to myself today for work. 
Also, I'm so comfortable, I could fall asleep!

I don't ever wear makeup to work. I probably always look bad!
I wear yoga pants at least half the time I'm running errands, and occasionally when my jeans are drip-drying I'll wear them to lunch, or to tutoring.
Sometimes I even pair my yoga pants with my zip-up hoodie from Lululemon and then I get told I look like a "Noe Valley mom" (that's the SF neighborhood where all the moms live).
Haha, if I wore yoga pants to my last job, I'd probably look better than most of the folks there. ;P So, I think you're fine.

I don't have any yoga pants. But DH wants me to wear some, he thinks they are cute.

haha. my DH is weird. he prefers me in jeans to yoga pants.
This. I don't have any either but my H always asks me why I don't own any. Might just buy some here soon! But I don't like long pj pants. That's what I would use them for, or lounging around the house. I'm constantly in shorts at home. I get too hot.
