What was your favorite Valentine's gift you've received?
Re: 1 question poll
He woke me up with kisses and breakfast in bed. We ended up doing mini golf, laser tag, and go-karts. After that he brought me downtown to the river walk (he had already packed a picnic) and we sat drinking and eating while watching the sunset symphony*. The best thing about it was it was around the end of May so I had no clue he had this planned!

ETA: Fail at reading the question. We typically don't do actual gifts, but in our eyes a day planned to do whatever the other one wants is the "gift".
It's not really a gift but...
One year when DH and I were dating he told me to dress up and I figured we were going somewhere nice. I was slightly annoyed because I honestly do not like going out on Vday due to the crowds. He ended up cooking a candlelight dinner at home and I thought it was cute we were dressed nicely (we wear sweats a lot...).
My Blog
He got me a giant fortune cookie one year with a personalized message inside.
And yes, the actual fortune did end with "in bed". The H is a funny guy sometimes.
Last year Valentine's day was right before our wedding so I wasnt expecting anything. He was supposed to be working and I had plans to go to my friends house for dinner (it's also one of my best friend's birthday so we usually do something for her) I walked out of work and DH was outside waiting for me. When I got in the car, there was a dozen roses and a little teddy bear on the seat. I thought that was so sweet. We stopped at home so I could change into more comfortable clothes since I wasn't going to bail on my friend and this is what my living room looked like.
It really had nothing to do with the flowers and balloons but I was so happy he surprised me by taking the day off and trying to do something cute.
I love this!
The first V-Day me and my recent ex were living together he got me a black/white diamond necklace... in the shape of a penguin! It was so very me, I love it.
