I'm joining the clean eating revolution.

Not die hard, but certainly paying more attention to my labels. I'm thinking I'll be a Monday-Friday, 75% of the time clean eater. I'm not going to deprive myself of restaurant meals or dinner at a friend's house. I will mainly cut out packaged meals and make conscious efforts to buy foods that are organic and/or all natural, eat more fresh fruits/veggies and less processed dairy and grains. I'm pretty excited to see if I feel better after awhile!

My phone doesn't like to reply to PM, but yes, that is me, and I never asked to join - it's no biggie. Thanks though! :)

If you change your mind, just say so! It only takes a second to send it out! To be honest there are people there that I don't think are from here. Then I really start to question who is who.

  • Good for you!!!

I think one to two days of cheating will keep you on the right healthy track.

    You are one to admire.

  • I eat about 95% "clean" because I have food allergies and can't eat most processed foods.  It was really hard in the beginning because my allergies limit me so much, but it's gotten a little easier.  It was a big lifestyle change but the good part is that I'm healthier now than I've ever been, I eat mostly fresh produce, read labels and research ingredients like crazy, and I'm way more conscious of what I'm putting in my body.  It's become like second nature and most of my cravings have diminished.

Anyway, I know my situation is different but the whole point of my rambling is if I can do it then you can do it.  :)  Good luck, Eve!

  • Good for you!

About 6 years ago when I was really watching my diet and avoiding *most* packaged stuff I was able to lose over 20lbs (along with exercise).  I've kept it off for the most part, but I haven't been as strict w/ not eating junk lately, and I think it's slowly catching up to me ;(

I really need to get back to being more aware of what I'm eating.

Anyhoo, which half are you doing?
