yay for slow people! once we have 4, we can sign up a "team" for a discount.
ETA: dang--it said registration opens on feb 1st..but that's for "the whole thing"..seattle registration opens on feb 15...
ETA2: and in the FAQ:
Can I run with my dog?
This one depends on the rules of the venue for each Color Run city. Some will allow it and some won?t. Send us an email and we?ll let you know. PS coloring dogs is super fun for us.
(i'm totally bringing my little dog, if they allow it!)

i need to do c25k too. i've started it twice, didn't get past the first week. *sigh...*
slow for me is--i cannot run/jog half a mile on the treadmill w/o stopping to walk. so we could either do a very very very slow, consistent jog, or we can walk the whole thing.....and maybe run the last leg, just to say we ran it haha.

ok, good! then i'm totally down. i'm super excited. i've never done anything like this before!
my pace is about 10:30/mile, which I feel like for most runners is slow (or maybe the ladies on the H&F board are just freakishly fast - I dont post there much b/c I feel like slow poke compared to most of them)... but I'm also in this for the experience - I do half marathons to challenge myself and work on my pace there - I'm just excited to meet some seattle nesties, so I'll stick with the group regardless of how fast/slow we are running/jogging/walking. The only other 5k I have ever done I did with a friend who maybe ran.... half a mile of it? and we walked the rest. It was a blast!
If this is slow, then I'm slow too!
I'm tentatively running this race with some friends, but if that doesn't pan out I would LOVE to join team Nesties! This does sound like a ton of fun.
Oh and Sarack - Couch to 5k is pretty easy to add in to your existing workout schedule! Especially in the early weeks, it's less than 30 minutes of running, 3 days per week. Signing up for a race gives you a great goal to work toward!

i'm not sure, i think 3 months is a little young to be in the stroller for that long, bouncing along. i was thinking of wearing the baby, but that's also too long of a distance. i'd probably have h hold the baby throughout. they can have daddy bonding time.

Ah shoot. This for me too.
Being bounced on a stroller wouldn't be any different than being in a car that long. I'd be more concered with scheduling it around feeding times and such...oh and planning for when baby goes potty....but what do I know. I've never done a 5k with a baby. :-)
wait a sec--babies eat and potty? this is going to be harder than i thought.

maybe i'll wear the baby? or pump before so h can feed the baby? i guess we will just have to see. registration is in 2 weeks. maybe i'll get a better idea then.

(Though I need to re-do C25k!)
Not sure about wearing/strollering the baby, though -- if they splash colour on you like the video implies, I don't want the baby/carrier/stroller covered in it. So DH would definitely have to hold on to the baby!
