F/U to KA attachment post
Well, we made a fresh batch of pasta last night...oh my goodness, it was SO GOOD. I could tell DH was getting frustrated because, of course, I asked him to knead the dough. When we put it in the flattener thingie, he was like "Huh" but then when we put it in the pasta cutter he got the cutest look on his face - he was like "I want to do it again, do it again!" We have decided we will make fresh pasta the next time we have SD because she will love it.
Anyhoo, cooked it right away for spaghetti (we had leftover sauce and meatballs from a PW recipe) and it was..divine. WOW.
I will no longer buy pasta at the store!

my bookshelf!
Bloggy
LOL. Sorry. Portion control - PORTION CONTROL! When we make her meatballs we use sausage instead of the turkey. It gives the meatballs more flavor. We also cook the sauce the night before so that it will sit in the fridge for 24 hours and "combine." It is SO MUCH BETTER next day.
I got it as a wedding gift - it came from Williams Sonoma - I believe BB&B has one as well. There are several other types of attachments too!
Yes - but you have to flatten the dough to 1 cm thickness so that it fits into the first flattener thingie. THAT is the hard part.
