Just talked to my doctor - there's no displacement of the joint since I've started walking on it (2 weeks ago tomorrow), and everything looks good!
I won't really know when I can stop wearing the boot because it's pretty much up to me and how strong it feels. I'm not going to jump the gun on that one, and since fashion is no concern of mine, it's all good.
Woooo hoooo! I was bracing myself for bad news just in case, so I am so happy right now!

Re: HOLLA
Yay! That's wonderful news! How soon do YOU think you'll be able to walk without the boot?
Probably not for a couple of weeks because it's still pretty weak. Up until two days ago, I was still using two crutches in the morning if I didn't have the boot on. It's gotten stronger though, so I can manage with 1 crutch and no boot, I just have to be really careful.
Yay!!!

Excellent!
Suh-weet! So happy for you!
Thanks ladies!
When I went to get lunch today, I didn't take my crutch with me.
Granted, I didn't go very far, but it felt great!
P.S. I think you're the most gansta hippy ever.
Well, I do live in Brooklyn...gotta represent. hahaha
It's really because MH used to say it all.the.time. I blame his love for Jay-Z.
YES - we definitely will!
