Sunday afternoon black tie optional wedding
wtf?
we're (probably) going to a cousin's wedding in Albany and it's a Sunday afternoon and black tie optional. whaaaa?
anyway, what does a 17 month old wear to one of these shindigs?
Re: Sunday afternoon black tie optional wedding
Sunday afternoon. Black tie optional. Kids.
I'm sorry, my head just exploded.
oh shiit I just assumed kids were invited because it's sunday afternoon. also, I have not received the invite yet. maybe I'm not invited? This may be a moot discussion...
Ditto.
I can't imagine anyone's going to be scrutinizing him all that hard, but I'd probably just put him in a pair of pants and a shirt and maybe a cute clip on bow tie (just for fun).
He might be!
I just feel like people need to pick one or the other -- either it is black tie, or it is suitable for toddlers.
The Knot is living proof not everything thinks this way.
Black tie is always an option...after 5.
Who in the name of god wears black tie in the afternoon?
This. I find it odd.
I am trying to imagine corralling my kid while in black tie attire.
I am trying to imagine black tie on a Sunday afternoon...
