Since we had WTF Wednesday, shall we do a Thankful Thursday? If for no other reason than the board has been a little slow lately, and this afternoon (and week) is dragging!
Here's mine: I'm thankful that our dog is doing much better this week than last (we thought she had a partially torn ligament, and she yelped and cried whenever she moved; it was heartbreaking). Not only am I happy to see her not in pain, but I am also relieved that we likely won't have to drop $4K on surgery. Ouch!
I'm also thankful that my high school crowd will all be able to make it into town Saturday for my friend's baby shower and dinner. It feels like it's been a long time since I've had a girls' night out.

I am thankful that I had a job interview this week. I'm not sure I'll get the job & even if I do, I'm not sure I'll take it. The experience of interviewing again is worthwhile.
I'm also thankful that my husband did a bunch of chores last night w/out my having to remind him.
and, finally, i'm not exactly "thankful" but i'm proud of myself for really sticking to WW. I've navigated through several tests & have made good decisions thus far.
schy, happy anniversary!
Mine is that I'm really thankful for the gorgeous weather we've been having lately. I am in a MUCH better mood than I usually am in early February. It's so nice to be able to spend some time outdoors and see the sun.
Ditto all of this!!
I am thankful that I will get to be home next weekend for my Dad's 75th birthday, and that I'll be back home in time to see DH off for his trip to Moscow. Which reminds me to be incredibly thankful for our amazing counselor and all of her efforts over the past 11 months to help us understand ourselves and each other more.
I am thankful for the fact that it is Thursday! My favorite tv day.
I'm thankful that even though I have to work tomorrow (I get so spoiled having a compressed schedule), I have some relatively fun projects to work on.
I'm thankful that I don't have to go to a family wedding in March. Which sounds awful, but I really don't know this person well enough to drive four hours each way and spend money on a hotel room.
I'm thankful I didn't have to show up for jury duty this week. I'm still on call for next week and it will be much easier to take a day off of work then.
I'm thankful DH made a massage appointment for me. I'm terrible at calling to schedule things, so this wasn't going to happen without him pushing it. As much as he can annoy me sometimes (because - gah, boys!), he's a sweetie at heart and I'm lucky to have him around.
I am thankful it is Thursday. I was home sick on Tues and should be home sick today but dragged my ass to work. Tomorrow cannot come soon enough.
I am thankful that my new employee is so wonderful and learns so quickly so even when I am dragging ass like today she can cover for me and crap gets done without me having to explain everything twice.
Mostly I am thankful that my husband scored GA tickets for us to see my lovah Mr. Springsteen in Tampa in March and we have a whole weekend getaway planned. Hello, lovah! Hello, beach!
"What is a week-end?"
Happy date-a-versary Schy!
I am grateful that nine years ago, DH and I went out on our first date, and four years ago, we got married. Every day I am more grateful to have him in my life.
And I'm grateful to the Nesties too for the celebratory dinner recs for this weekend! We're going with Tabard Inn.
I'm thankful I got acupuncture yesterday.
And, that we got our house keys replaced.
And that I didn't gain any weight on my Napa trip.

I'm thankful that zumba has started up at my complex again- yay for a fun, free class that is only a 3 min. walk away!
I'm thankful that our meal rotation has expanded thanks to some new recipes- I haven't been in a rut for a while.
And of course I'm thankful for this lovely warm weather, except that I would like a delayed arrival or a snow day.
ETA: Also, DH had an interview with a temp agency today- fingers crossed that this leads somewhere!

Yum yum! Enjoy yourselves!
I am thankful that as soon as my boss left this afternoon I put myself in vacation mood.
We leave for Toronto on Monday and i cannot wait! Woo too!
Congrats schy!
Glad your dog is on the mend Jenn!
We make the rockin' world go 'round.
What is with this time of year and love? I'm thankful that we also celebrated our 10th date-i-versary this past Sunday by recreating it.
And I am VERY thankful to one of my BFs for suggesting we go to Key West for her 40th birthday! Four of us will be there tomorrow through Monday, and I think we're all duking it out for who needs this vacation the most. Yikes!
I came home from the gym to find that DH had made a Toll House Cookie Pie (from a recipe he found online), which was the dessert we shared 10 years ago at a restaurant in our college town. Considering that he doesn't cook, I was super impressed! (I had two pieces, too!) He even left work early to make sure he'd have enough time to make it by the time I walked through the door.
