Dietician Follow Up - Week 2

Last night was my second visit with the dietician.  I knew going in I had a rough week  but even with that I never went "crazy".

We looked through my food journals.  What I really appreciated is we talked about what went well and what did not.  In the case where it was a bad situation, she gave me strategies to move forward.  She is much more than, "don't eat this, but eat that".

This week I am working on eating according to this breakdown:

25% of calories from protien

45% from carbs (complex) (45-60 grams per meal)

30% from fat

While I gained a half pound last week (another vent all together) she kept me in check and refocused me.

Re: Dietician Follow Up - Week 2

  • Glad it's working for you.  I also love the dietician I go too.  Are you working out with the change in eating?  That could be the reason for the increase although 1/2 lb is nothing.

I'm not working out regularly yet because of a back issue.  I plan to start up next week so I am hoping that will speed things along ;o)
