Those who are dieting...

I've been working out and cutting my caloric intake. As of now I'm taking in about 1300 calories a day and doing cardio for about 45 min. Anyway. I've dropped 7lbs-yay! Today I am feeling a little shakey...my first thought was blood sugar. I ate a fruit leather and I'm still feeling blah. Not so much my muscles hurt but just icky and shakey. Any suggestions? I've also upper my water intake...maybe my body adjusting to the lower calories?

Re: Those who are dieting...

  • Make sure your electrolytes are balanced also.  You've upped your water and you're working out - so just make sure you get some salt in your diet as well.  That can give you the shakes. :)
  • I would try drinking a cup of orange juice.  If you feel better almost immediately, then it is your blood sugar.  With something like a fruit leather, it may take too long to metabolize for you to see a real difference.
