Just got back from
flying from NC to SLC. We stayed 1 night in Park City during Sundance but didn't get out much because it was snowing so heavily they were closing roads.
The next morning we drove from PC to Jackson Hole, WY to spend the week. We stayed a week in a 3 bedroom condo we found on VRBO.
Did some skiiing, snowmobiling through Yellowstone, eating, drinking, and relaxing before driving back to SLC to catch our flight out on Saturday.
All in all it was great trip! This was the first time we had flown in somewhere other than JH but honestly the scenery on the drive from SLC to JH is breathtaking.
I'll post some pictures this weekend once I have a chance to go through them.
This was also our first trip traveling with a toddler and she did amazing! Thanks to you ladies for all of the wonderful advice you shared

We are looking at visiting Yellowstone sometime this year (not for skiing). How far of a drive from SLC was it to JH and how far is JH from Yellowstone?
It took us about 5 hours however I think in the summer you could do it a little quicker. We were driving on snow covered roads almost 100% of the way.
I've traveled to many places and this was hands down the most amazing scenery any of us had ever seen.
JH to Yellowstone is 63 miles.
You drive through Grand Teton from SLC to JH. I think 5 days would be just about right.
2 days in Grand Teton and 3 in Yellowstone.
What are you planning on doing?
You can go rafting. The rivers are gorgeous.
