As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Thoughts and Prayers **Updated**
Please keep my FIL in your thoughts.
DH emailed me at 2 today (I'm a teacher, so I can't answer my phone). His dad was in the ER with massive amounts of rectal bleeding. (Sorry for the TMI). They are guessing he has lost about 3 pints of blood. He doesn't even remember the car ride to the hospital.
They've admitted him for the night and think it may be from his colonoscopy last week. (They removed a few polyups, so we are hoping maybe one of the sutures just reopened.) But they may have to give him some blood, and are waiting for the GI doctor.
Of course, I've got school related stuff going on tonight and am stuck here. (I'm still at work.) Sounds like it's just a waiting game right now, and he's okay.
I'm super worried, because I LOVE my FIL. Thanks for the kind thoughts ladies - I know how powerful your vibes are!!
UPDATE: They apparently thought they may have nicked a blood vessal (a polyup was near one.) They had him go though the scope again this morning (cleaned him out, knocked him out, etc). Apparently one of the scabs fell off and the wound reopened.
They got it closed back up and he should be fine. Nothing too major, but they are going to watch him for a while because he lost a few pints of blood.
