New to the Nest, Still in the Knot process. Buying a house!
My fiance' and I are buying a house. It was foreclosed upon, unfortunately. Cute little house. 2 bedroom and 1 bath. So anyways. The bank accepted our offer, we are under contract and now we just to have send some more documents to the bank so we can close sooner! I am along for the ride and helping my soon-to-be hubby along the way. I am so excited and I can't wait! I need color scheme ideas any thoughts? Also, I wanted to introduce myself. So hi, I am Brittany.

There is a Decorating and Renovating board. You will get better advice if you ask specific questions -- and the best help if you post a picture of the situation in question.
I hope that you have rectified the situation that caused your foreclosure, have a good 6 month's expenses in an emergency fund, have moving, start up costs, renovation and repair costs as well as decorating and furniture/appliances expenses, yard equipment as well as misc tools saved. You do not want to run up credit cards to get into a house!
I am not a fan of buying a home before marriage. Please do have a plan in place should the marriage not take place - how things get divided etc.(I know, everyone thinks it won't happen to them, but we see this often on these boards).
ETA: I think I misread your original post. Is the house being purchased a foreclosure?
