Paris: any shops I should seek out for gifts?
We are going to Paris next week and want to get gifts for our parents to thank them for watching our girls while we're away. I'd also like to pick something up for my brother and his wife who are expecting their first baby next month.
I know "gifts" is a broad request, but does anyone have any suggestions? We are staying on Ile St. Louis but plan to visit most of the other neighborhoods.

Macarons probably wouldn't stay fresh for your flight back, but Laduree has some other very nice gifts like soaps, candles, hand cream, etc.
They also have chocolates and teas that obviously wouldn't spoil on your flight back.

or maybe a gift for yourself

Thanks, TatiMarie - Ladur?e looks like it will give us some nice options. DaringMiss, great idea with the museum shops too.
Ha, I won't be buying anything like that for myself, let alone my mom. Though she does deserve it!
This.
