Hi all, I haven't posted on this one for a while, let alone start it!
How are you all, happy it's Friday? Any plans for the weekend?

Morning! I'm so happy that it's Friday because DH and I are going out tonight for a date night W/O E, she's now going down for the night around 6:30 so we can make the 7:30 movies! My Mum is home alone at the moment so she's coming over to look after E
QOTD: White wine all the way, can't stand Red and I'd prefer not chardonnay either!
Good Morning!
My weekend is full, but most if it will be spent waiting. My mother is scheduled for surgery sometime Friday US time, which will be sometime Saturday my time -- she's the second scheduled surgery for the day, but has no idea when it will start. So I'll spend Saturday hanging out by my phone waiting to hear how things went. Sunday we are visiting my friend who is recovering from brain surgery -- she can have visitors for 10-15 minutes, so while it won't be a long visit, it will be the first time we've seen her since her surgery mid-December. Housework and making enchiladas and flan for dinner will complete my Sunday.
QOTD: I am not particular as long as a sweet wine.
Morning! I'm heading off in a few hours to a weekend seminar. DD is being a huge pain at the moment, so I'm looking forward to it, although I'm sure I'll miss her like crazy once I'm gone.
QOTD: Red, but not merlot. For several years I thought I didn't like red, but I think that was because I had always tried merlots. Then I tried a shiraz and fell in love.
Morning! I went out with some friends last night and had a good time!
Today, we're off to a farm/ resort an hour outside of Doha. A student at the university DH works for is a member of the royal family, and they invite us out. Last year was awesome, this is year is bound to be even better. We just heard they will have paintball!
QOTD: I like both! I prefer sweeter whites (riesling, Pinot grigio, etc) and blended reds :-) and I'm with Mouse, no Chardonnay!!! Bleh!

My Doha Adventures
Morning. It?s sooo cold here and i just got my hand stuck to the latch on the gate like something out of "The Christmas Story" and it wasn?t even wet. Ouchies.
QOTD: White. All the way. And super dry, no sweet wines, please. Not a big fan of Riesslings, either. I prefer gray burgundys and such.
Morning! No plans for today...was supposed to go out with a friend tonight, but she's sick. I'll probably go to the gym later and meet a friend for lunch at my favorite cr?perie.
QOTD: If I had to choose...probably white, but it depends on the meal/my mood.
Morning! After lots of rest yesterday Iam feeling better this morning! Woohoo! I can actually go teach my Englis classes this afternoon and have my girls' night.

Tomorrow's our anniversary! Yay! We were going to head to Cologne, but it's so cold. If we don't go we're going to go to our local mall and eat at the fancy thai restaurant there.
QOTD: I can only drink a little bit of wine. More than 2 classes, especially of red, makes me sick. My favorite it Malbec However, I often order white if I'm out somewhere. In other words, both.
Morning everyone! TGIF, indeed...this week has gone by at a snail's pace. We were going to go on a Belgian Abbey Tour (yay for delicious beer), but it's so cold outside, we're going to postpone it. I'm actually a little glad for the postpone, as DH has been working 16+ hours each day this past week and we've hardly seen each other. It'll be nice to have a relaxing weekend for a change.
QOTD: White, all the way. I've yet to find a red that I'm in love with, sadly.
Morning! Had my 6 week post baby check and everything is good. Now it's time to get back in shape!
No real plans for the weekend. H and our friend have plans to go to a football (soccer) match tomorrow and H is playing on Sunday so I guess I'm going to have a lot of time with just me and the little one.
QOTD: I like most wine. I pick depending on what I'm eating and in the mood for. I also find that I tend to drink more white wine in the warmer weather and red in the colder weather. I do not like Rieslings.
Good morning! Happy Friday! I got paid today for the first time since mid-November, so I'm very happy, even though it wasn't much. Next pay will be a good one
QOTD: I like red, but BF likes white. When we were together we compromised and had dry whites. I can't stand sweet wine.
Evening! We managed to get to church this morning. Was really nice to go. Probably my last chance until we move since I go back to work next week (work same day/time as service). Let BabyD play at the park for a bit. Went for a stroll by a lagoon and saw some fish. Had a delicous lunch at one of our favorite restaurants here. Then nap times for everyone but me; I read. We're just kind of goofing off right now and dinner will be a free-for-all on the leftovers. Later I'll assemble a tiramisu.
Tomorrow we're going to try for the Tree of Life for my mom. Pretty much to just tick it off the list. Not too sure what all we are doing tomorrow but I know what is for dinner. We might have guests but waiting to hear back. Making chicken braised with bell peppers and olives. Roasted veggie of some sort, depends on what is good at the store, and topped with parmesan. Some crusty bread to sop up the chicken juice goodness. Homemade tiramisu goodness for dessert.
QOTD: Personally, red wine. But I can be pretty darn friendly with the white wines as well.
