10 Weeks to go and still no nursery lol
So I have not done anything for the baby room : ( just not motivated yet. My back has been bothering me and just cant seem to decide on furnitures. I have a few in mind but can't decide where to order it from (online/store). Room is painted already ever since we moved in, luckily my favorite color is blue and now we're having a boy : ) but I do want to make some changes like adding a chair rail and maybe changing the color on the bottom or top. Please tell me some of you had waited this late to start your baby nursery too so I don't feel to bad not being productive lol.
I have my baby shower end of this month, so thats also part of the reason why I feel like I should wait lol.
"don't ever let go of my hands" teejay..

ETA: I ordered 2 from JCPenny and they were both flawless! The only reason why I didn't keep the first was b/c we decided on a white crib after we found out she was a girl. I highly recommend JCP, if any of their cribs are on your list.

In all honesty, a nursery is not a necessity when a baby is born. As long as you have somewhere for him to sleep (bassinet, etc), food, clothes, and a pacifier if he's into that sort of thing, he'll be a happy camper. Q didn't start sleeping in his crib until he was 3 months and that was just naps. I transitioned him to sleeping in his crib at night when he was 4 months.

thats what I was told too, maybe thats why Im not motivated yet lol but I know I should work on it before its too late that I have no more energy for it and gets too busy.

10 weeks is plenty of time, and everyone is right, you don't need a nursery right away, just a quiet place to nurse. But, don't plan on having any extra time for that stuff after he arrives, at least not for awhile. If I manage to get in a shower or get one picture in her baby book in a day I feel like I've been amazingly productive.
Agreed 100%!
This!
