My friend e-mailed me saying that she, her husband and daughter are coming. In her words, "M seems to have gotten over his illness.....I still have hives-miserable, uncomfortable, and itcy."
I talked to her and told her that I really don't want them to get me or the guests sick. And she totally blew it off.
::le sigh::
Re: F/U to Baby Shower Issue
That's crap. I would, unfortunately, not go anywhere near her or her family and just tell her again you really can't afford to get sick right now.
I really wish people would just suck it up at times like this and realize that the responsible, adult decision would be to stay home.

UGH I'm really sorry.I agree with the others stay on the other side of the room from her!!
Ditto this, and Rebecka's suggestion of saying you have to stay away Dr.'s orders! Sorry to hear she blew you off
Some people don't put themselves in the other person's shoes- I would imagine she would've felt the same way when she was pregnant. Good luck steering clear!
