How do I find out about why helicopters are hovering around my hood?
I Googled today's date and "helicopters over Springfield" but not much came up. There are two military-looking helicopters slowly flying around my neighborhood right now. (well, what do I know what a military copter looks like all I know is they're not traffic helicopters which is what I'm used to seeing since I live near the beltway).
They look sort of evil. 
Wife, Musician, Fed, WW-er, and Mom of three little kids - not necessarily in that order.

Ditto pp - I was going to suggest either Obama being around or training. But, they usually announce training on the news a couple days in advance.

Those flew over my hood earlier. I love it when they come so low--I never get tired of seeing it.
It doesn't seem like Obama being in Arlington would have helo's in Springfield.
Sometimes the people on the message boards on Fairfax Underground know what's going on. I think they listen to police scanners and stuff.
