Where is your favorite place to buy shoes? In store? Online? Both? Curiosity has striken me.

jumped ship to the new and improved nest. back to TB for baby boards.
I work with a lady that orders from Zappos weekly. She is always getting zappos boxes. I've ordered from them once and had great success.
Nordstrom, for sure. The return policy is key on shoes.
I love Neiman Marcus! And I love that Bellevue got one a few years ago.
Nordstroms, but only specific ones like Alderwood Mall or Bellevue Square, sometimes downtown. The one at Northgate? Blows chunks.
My favorite shoe shopping experience was the Manolo boutique in New York cause they seriously make you feel like a princess even when you come in just off an airplane and kind of sweating from the heat. :P I met this woman there who flies in from Texas twice a year to get fitted for and buy more shoes. I aspire to be that some day.
Me too, but their AmEx only policy sucks. I actually opened an AmEx card in part because I was so annoyed that I could only pay by cash / check there... so I guess that policy is smart on their part.
Is the one in Bellevue any good? I haven't been there ever. The one in Palo Alto is disturbingly nice, especially since it's technically on a college campus I think (it's the Stanford mall and it's ridiculous - who needs a LV and Neiman Marcus right next to their college?!?!).
Yes it's nice! They are friendly when I go in there, which depends on who you talk to. I've had friends who thought they were standoffish. *Shrugs* They were nice to me!
I'm in the same boat, haha. I only buy shoes every several years, unless I have a specific need that I can't address with my existing wardrobe (rare! I'm very consistent with my clothing choices, haha).
I tend to shop at Nordstrom's in-person, or Endless.com for the interwebs, but I think my most-recent shoe acquisition was a pair of Sketchers Shape-Ups I got at the Sketchers shop in Northgate... I think two years ago? I bought 'em for walking around Vancouver during the 2010 Olympics, since I didn't have a decent pair of walking shoes and we sure as hell weren't going to drive around there.
yeah.. seriously. i just haven't been buying anything extra unless necessary. we are seriously trying to pay our debt. it sucks but it'll be worth it.
I rarely buy shoes that are less than $40, unless they happen to be one Sale!
My favorite is Spring - http://www.callitspring.com/us
I've bought my shoes here for years and love their styles.. the hardest part was that when I first moved here there wasn't a store that carried them. Now thankfully JCPenny does so I can just go there.
