  • New shows I've gotten into are New Girl. Slow start but is much better now. It was never Zooey's fault though. I like Alcatraz, Touch premiere was good. Two Broke Girls is still so-so. Really cheesy moments. Luck on HBO is great.

Other shows, Californication is hilarious, one of my favs. Spartacus, Big Bang, HIMYM, Vampire Diaries (I know, I'm a dork), Gossip Girl, Parenthood. The list goes on! But those are my favorites. Can't wait till April when Game of Thrones comes back!

  • I rarely, if ever, turn on the TV.  Exceptions:

    1.  Sports - Anything UW Huskies, and NFL Sundays are usually wasted days for me; then occasionally I'll throw on a basketball game or football game for background noise

    2.  Parks & Rec.  I watch that or DVR it.  It's the only show on TV I watch consistently.

Were it not for my sports obsession, I could go entirely without TV or cable.

The office just makes me sad this season. I loved michael scott and his replacement is terrible. :-(

I miss sports! By next football season we are going to get cable back I'm sure. I just can't stand it that DH just wants to go to the bar to watch a game and he doesn't feel awkward bringing the little mister....I do though. Stick out tongue

  • Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your mother are my classic favorites.

We also watch Family Guy, American Dad, The Cleveland Show, the Bachelor, Alcatraz, Once Upon a Time, and Grimm regularly.

Occasionally NCIS, Law and Order SVU (I don't love it without Stabler), and CSI. We also have almost the whole season of Tera Nova recorded.

We don't have cable, so only stuff that's over the air.

  • I watch a lot of tv. :P

But my must watches this season are Revenge, Once Upon a Time (started slow but is slowly getting better), Happy Endings, The Good Wife, Hart of Dixie, Modern Family, Big Bang Theory, Downton Abbey (over for now), and Sherlock (over for now), Boardwalk Empire (over for now).

Everything else I kind of just watch cause I'm in the kitchen cooking.

Bones, Castle, CSI, Fringe, Game of Thrones (coming back April 1st), Gossip Girl (I don't even know why I bother anymore, it's such lameness now), Grey's Anatomy (see note for Gossip Girl), Grimm, How I Met Your Mother, New Girl, Pretty Little Liars, 2 Broke Girls, Psych, Ringer, Supernatural (which makes me sad cause I used to love this show and now I don't know why I bother), The Mentalist.

I'm probably going to give Smash a chance once it comes out on Monday.

It sounds like I sit on my butt and watch tv all day, I swear I don't.

(I might play it on an extra monitor at work while I'm working which generally means I have to rewatch an episode 10 times to figure out what was going on, what with the whole working thing.) Embarrassed

  • um.. i can't ever catch a show when it's actually on.. so i watch stuff but i never know the whole story.

last night i caught up on the most recent jersey shore.. but not the new on that aired, i needed sleep.

i also like to watch greys but we do that on the weekend. otherwise, i catch re-runs of reality tv, that's my fav.

  • I'll be watching the super bowl on Sunday... I don't really watch a lot of tv. I don't follow any shows. Dh is excited for the return of the Walking Dead though.

  • Two of you watch Grimm? I thought I was the only one who kind of likes that show! H watches it with me, but doesn't really like it. Admittedly, the sidekick is what makes that show good, and I like to try to guess the fairy tale it will be based on just the opening text screen.

Community (on hiatus), 30 Rock, Parks & Rec, The Office (but not religiously), and I like the new one with Christina Applegate and whatshisname that they've moved to that 4th Thursday slot.

Gossip Girl (although I haven't watched the DVR since it came back from hiatus and I'm about done with it)

"special" - Downton Abbey, Sherlock, Game of Thrones, True Blood (losing interest)

  • We exclusively watch TV shows on DVD or streaming, lol. To the point that we cancelled our cable a year and something ago and haven't noticed the difference.

We're also ridiculously behind on what's "popular", because, well, we don't make time for watching TV.

E.G.: We just finished up the last season of The West Wing. Which, btw, was awesome.

Lol, it's funny, my favorite is Once Upon a Time, and DH's favorite is Grimm, but we watch them both together. My only complaint about Grimm is that it gets a bit scary for me, but I love the sidekick.

  • DH and I just finished watching up to season 5 of 30 Rock. I re-watching Gilmore Girls and DH and I watch How I Met Your Mother every week.

Once Big Bang Theory comes out with the latest season on dvd I watch that.

I never saw the last season and keep meaning to!  Loved that show.

Confession: my love of the West Wing may have been a major reason I went to law school in DC.

  • New shows: New Girl, Once Upon a Time (I'll have to check out Grimm), Revenge.

Standards: Office, Parks & Reck, 30 Rock, Happy Endings, HIMYM, Glee, Raising Hope...And lots of reality TV (guilty pleasures).

I can't watch any legal shows, I just can't help but yell at the TV about everything that is so completely wrong, fake, blatantly illegal.

Really tempted to cancel cable and just do Netflix, Hulu.
