A question:
When one is buying a pair of pants, such as jeans, and they are sized by measurments (29, 30, 31, etc.) rather than number (8, 10, 12...), is the measurment the waist or the hips?

OK so here's my dilemma, if thats what you wanna call it.
I wear currently wear an ON 10 (don't hate, I worked hard to get there) but I want to buy a pair of jeans from a totally different designer online (yay Jeans.com Eversave deal) and their sizes are as measurements. So I went to ON's website, checked out their sizing chart, and a 10 is 29 waist, 40 hips... the pair of jeans I want are considered "low-rise" and size options are 24 through 34 -- what should I choose?

I find that ON runs large in comparison to many other brands.
That being said, I think it depends on the fit of the other brand you're comparing it to. Jeans are so hard!
What brand is it?

Well, I would think vanity size or not, ON would still have their chart measurements solid? Anyway, it's a brand called Antik Denim -- a $187 pair on sale for $60 that will in essence be $35 thanks to my deal. I think I got it figured out now though...
