Eyeshadow

What color of eyeshadow would you recommend for blue/green eyes, medium brown hair and light complexion?

I've been wearing brown for years but it's just getting old.

Re: Eyeshadow

  • I wear purpleish tones a lot because it really makes the green in my eyes pop.
  • My eyes are blue/green hazel, too, but i think yours have more blue (or they did last weekend)

...not like I was staring into your eyes, or anything.

Pttff, you know you were. It's ok. ;)

They are more blue but with certain things I wear they turn green.

    Yes

I'm loyal to the Almay line - it does wonders for my eyballs.

If they're hazel like mine, you can wear any of the Almay Intense I-color line and your eyes will change color to match

Purple does bring out green really well, if you're having a green day! I have grey/blue ish eyes and browns are good, but I do get bored of them. However since orange is the copmlementary color to blue, I like to wear pretty bronzey/gold colors and it makes the blue pop.

I think blue eyes are pretty versatile though, I own at least one shade of every color. :)

I'm not good with change. LOL I stick with what I know "works". I might have to try a bronze though.

  • They say (whoever "they" is) that brown eyeshadow enhances blue eyes. I trust "them". If I wear eyeshadow at all, I use brown.

  • I have hazel eyes (brown/green) and mostly wear shades of pink to bring out the green.  Like PPs mentioned, they rec. plums also but I'm not that bold or brave with make-up.

If you want to bring out the blue more then I've heard the same thing as Sapphire, that browns are supposed to help.

  • Definitely plums and purples would work well. I think you can also change up the eyeliner, if you don't want to change the eyeshadow. So something of a silvery, charcoal, brown, or purple could also help to make them pop.

  • I have hazel eyes, too. Mostly green with a cool yellow-orange ring in the middle. Anyway, I use bronze/gold colors and this one dusty rose color I'm madly in love with.
